Nicole Kidman on challenging herself, raising her teen daughters and why retirement isn't in the cards
With 80 films under her belt and her 58th birthday approaching in June, Nicole Kidman could be forgiven for taking it easy. Instead, she's more eager than ever to keep challenging herself.
“I would do so much more if I could,” she said last year ahead of the release of her acclaimed thriller Babygirl. “I'm limited in my physicality, in terms of I can only do so much, and then I obviously have kids and I have a relationship, but I'm still trying to utilize what I've been given.”
The Oscar-winning actress, most recently seen in Holland – in which she stars as Nancy, a housewife whose world is rocked by a dark secret – is passing down this strong work ethic to the two daughters she shares with her husband, country singer Keith Urban.
Sunday Rose, 16 – a budding model on the Paris catwalks – has started accompanying her famous mom to high-profile events, while her younger sister, Faith, 14, made a rare appearance with Nicole at The Hollywood Reporter's Annual Women in Entertainment gala in December.
