CANADA'S WALK OF FAME: CLASS OF 2025

It was a night of glamour, gratitude and guitar riffs as Canada's Walk of Fame Induction Gala lit up the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. With red-carpet arrivals, electric acts and emotional tributes, the sold-out event paid homage to nine homegrown heroes whose contributions have influenced culture, science, sport and beyond.

"My Canadian identity and my Canadian history is a huge part of why I think I am who I am and achieved what I've achieved," said filmmaker Shawn Levy, 56, whose numerous screen credits include Deadpool & Wolverine.

"There's a humility and a civility to we Canadians that I hope I'm holding on to."
