It was a case of déjà vu when Ralph Lauren presented his Fall/Holiday 2024 show in the same style as his very first collection in 1972.

Imitating his intimate shows in his office 52 years ago, the designer invited 100 guests to his studio at 650 Madison Avenue in New York City.

To add to the nostalgia, 1980s supermodel Christy Turlington kicked off the parade, strutting down the runway in a single-breasted buff cashmere coat and tailored taupe separates.

A matching taupe tie, the tail of which was tucked into her trousers, was a chic nod to Ralph’s early tailoring days.

From their prime spots on the front row, a cluster of stylish stars absorbed the quintessentially American collection.

Queen & Slim star Jodie Turner-Smith glistened in a gilded crochet dress, with suede cowboy boots and a brown cowboy hat adding to the US vibes, while fellow actress Kerry Washington embodied boho chic in a gem-encrusted violet skirt and an emerald silk shirt, finished off with colourful bead necklaces.
