PRINCE HARRY and wife Meghan’s attempts to conquer Hollywood and U.S. politics are being blocked by Michelle and Barack Obama, who are giving them the cold shoulder and have sabotaged the snooty duchess’ outrageous scheme to be a U.S. senator, sources reveal.

Insiders snipe iron-willed Michelle, 59, recently used her clout to slam the door on Meghan being named to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the death of California’s Democratic powerhouse Dianne Feinstein late last month.

“Michelle went out of her way to make sure Meghan did not get nominated,” an insider confirms. “It wasn’t difficult, given her power and influence within the party.

“She made some calls and quietly told the right people in the right places to put a stop to any nomination that came in for Meghan. Instead, California Gov. Gavin Newsom gave Laphonza Butler the job.

“For Meghan this is just another huge kick in the teeth. Her team’s furious and venting Michelle’s crossed her for the last time. To be backstabbed like this by someone she actually considered a friend and potential ally is just too much.”
