A SPHERICAL UFO has set down in a large city in Colombia in an ominous event that could well be humanity’s first contact with an alien civilization, GLOBE can now sensationally report.

According to social media posts from a team of researchers attempting to unlock the sphere’s mysteries, the volleyball-sized object was first spotted flying over the city of Buga on March 2 before it incredibly descended and made landfall.

The sphere — which is covered in an array of indecipherable etchings — has been recovered and turned over to local researchers, who say the object appears to have “no welds or joints” consistent with known aircraft manufacturing.
