The summit brought together industry experts and academic leaders to find breakthroughs to the pressing challenges in the container shipping industry and chart a path towards a brighter future for global supply chains and communities.

At opening ceremony with summit participants - Mr.Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Transport (front row, fourth from the left); Mr. Hiroshi Ishikawa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Singapore (front row, third from the left); Mr. Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE (front row, third from the right).

The event commenced with an opening address by Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE. He said: "ONE's core business is to move containers safely, efficiently, and with the lowest carbon intensity in the world. To achieve this, we need the support of many business entities and partners. Today, we are bringing together public and private sectors, academia, and industry to share best practices and work together to address the challenges we face. Together, we hope to advance collaboration with all stakeholders for the benefit of not just ONE, but the entire industry."
