RS 1,000 CR VISION: FOXTALE'S NEXT BIG
Retailer
|March - April 2025
OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS, FOXTALE AIMS TO BRING INTERNATIONAL SKINCARE TECHNOLOGIES TO INDIA, ENSURING THAT INNOVATION HAPPENS HERE RATHER THAN BEING IMPORTED FROM FRANCE OR ITALY.
Foxtale burst onto the beauty scene F in January 2022, and in just three years, it is set to surpass Rs 300 crore in gross revenue - a meteoric rise that few brands achieve. What makes its growth even more remarkable is its deep customer loyalty, with 50 percent of its revenue driven by repeat buyers.
"As we've scaled, we've also maintained a deep connection with our users, ensuring sustainable growth with a focus on unit economics. Even after accounting for all marketing expenses, we remain profitable, making our success not just about rapid expansion but also financial sustainability. This has been the essence of our journey so far," said Romita Mazumdar, Founder, Foxtale.
Diversifying Offerings Foxtale focuses on skincare, with its core portfolio consisting of 18-20 primary SKUS in this category. In the second half of last year, the brand expanded into body care, launching body washes and body lotions. Within just five months, this category achieved Rs 40 crore ARR and became profitable, a testament to the strength of its products and execution.
Foxtale currently has five SKUs in body care and are set to expand further with new launches next month.
"While 90 percent of our revenue still comes from skincare, and it remains the primary growth driver due to its larger market size, body care has emerged as a promising category with significant potential. As we move forward, we are committed to scaling both segments with high-quality, effective formulations tailored for our consumers," she highlighted.
