1 Changing Definition

Companies are beginning to deconstruct roles into skills and tasks, and then recombine them based on business needs. This has two implications. First, hiring becomes more fluid and organisations will 'assemble' teams for outcomes rather than fill static roles. Second, individuals will build portfolio careers: multiple income streams and project-based engagements. The next decade will be about more ways to work.
