Luxebook TOP 100 - Most Powerful 2025 Edition

Abhishek Ghatiwala's approach to jewellery is deeply personal.

Jewellery & Watches

"Luxury is about unique experiences that create a lifetime of memories."

As the Creative Head and CEO of Ghatiwala Jewellers, he has transformed the 90-year-old family enterprise into a contemporary bespoke atelier, redefining jadau jewellery while preserving its essence. A third-generation jeweller from Jaipur, he grew up immersed in the world of gemstones, inspired by his grandfather's pioneering work in emerald imports and his father's deep-rooted commitment to craft and purity.

imageHis journey, however, was shaped by a quest for reinvention. After schooling in Jaipur, he moved to Mumbai and later pursued an MBA in the UK. A stint in diamond grading gave him technical expertise, complementing the hands-on experience he gained during summers at the family business. With a belief that jewellery should tell a story, he set out to modernise Ghatiwala, blending tradition with innovation.

Under his leadership, the brand evolved into a design-forward house, curating one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces. Each creation is an ode to the artisans behind them, meticulously crafted using diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and polki. Beyond craftsmanship, Abhishek reimagined the retail experience, introducing a boutique that mirrors the brand's ethos—where artistry meets emotion. The revamped identity, symbolised by the G monogram, signifies a seamless fusion of heritage and modernity.

With a growing global presence, Abhishek envisions Ghatiwala as a signature name in luxury jewellery, creating treasures that endure across generations.
