My early professional journey began in the jute industry, following in the footsteps of my family. The late 1980s were an era of transformation in India — a time when Information Technology was emerging as a force that could redefine the future. Drawn by its potential, I stepped into the IT sector in 1987, joining an import and trading company.

By the early 1990s, with India’s economic liberalization policies opening new doors, I sensed a significant opportunity — particularly in Eastern India, which lacked a reliable source of quality IT products and professional distribution services.

In 1993, I founded Supertron Electronics Private Limited, with the belief that technology could be the great equalizer for businesses and individuals alike. This small venture with a handful of people and immense determination has one on to become one of India's leading technology distribution houses.
