Agripreneur wins top award for butternut coffee

Bloemfontein-based agripreneur Chantelle de Bruyn has achieved global recognition.
Her innovative coffee brand received the LUXlife Magazine Award for the Most Unique Organic Food and Beverage Outlet of 2024. The accolade from the UK-based publication was announced in a virtual ceremony in December 2024.
De Bruyn’s butternut coffee, which does not contain any coffee or caffeine, was formally registered in 2019 as a business called Butter Cup Butternut Coffee Powder.
In an interview with Farmer’s Weekly, De Bruyn said winning the award was humbling and rewarding.
