AFTER TAKING RETIREMENT from hitting bowlers around the park, former Australian opening batsman David Warner has found a new calling, sending the golf ball flying. He did it with great panache at the Business Today Golf Bengaluru edition of Royal Ranthambore at the Prestige Golfshire Club on March 22. Warner walked away with the honours in the o to 14 handicap category of the tournament's silver jubilee edition, which had several triers and aspirants in the field. The Golfshire course showed its best face to a packed field at the season's penultimate leg. The tech, business and administrative elite of the city played their best, resulting in plenty of quality golf and close competition.
