After its SME-IPO, Graphisads is using public funding to expand, aiming for 1,000 digital screens in North India while exploring Tier-2 market opportunities,ALOK GUPTA, Director, Graphisads tells Reema Bhaduri. Excerpts
Why did you choose to go public? What were the primary drivers behind your IPO decision?
Our decision to go public was driven by a combination of strategic growth ambitions and market readiness. As a capital-intensive industry, especially in outdoor media and event infrastructure, we needed long-term capital to scale sustainably.
Traditional funding avenues like private equity rarely favour advertising businesses, and bank loans come with limitations. The SME IPO route provided an ideal platform, given our strong track record, diversified client base, and pan-India execution capabilities. Going public also aligned with our vision of enhancing governance, transparency, and building long-term institutional trust.
