Studio Nilasha weaves texture and tranquillity into a Hyderabad home

This calm 3,000 sq. ft home in Hyderabad was conceived by Studio Nilasha to be designed with soothing whites and beiges that tell the tale through texture.

Designed for a young couple, the home uses a subdued palette not as a backdrop, but as an intentional foreground, enabling the eye to focus on the surface, grain, and play of light.

This shared sensibility is expressed directly at the threshold. A wooden door opens into a tranquil foyer, where sculptural wicker elements, including a wall-mounted bench and fluid pendant lighting by Wicker Story, quickly draw the eye. The entryway, with its lime-plastered walls and delicate oak panelling, creates a welcoming ambience that introduces the home's elegant simplicity.
