India's luxury car market grew at a phenomenal pace in 2024

The year that was turned out to be excellent for luxury car makers, as sales hit a new high. For the first time, luxury car sales in India crossed the 50,000 mark, with a growth of 6 percent, as the total number of cars sold stood at 51,500 units. Mercedes-Benz India retained its top spot by selling 19,565 cars, and one of every four cars it sold was priced at over ₹1 crore.
