SENSIBLE CAN STILL BE FUN

The Indian smartphone space has a habit of shouting at you.

Bigger numbers, louder colours, cameras with megapixel counts that sound like lottery jackpots. And then there’s the Lava Blaze 5G AMOLED 2, which politely clears its throat and promises to stick to managing the important stuff with modesty. And honestly, that restraint is refreshing.

Design:

Pick up the Blaze 5G AMOLED 2 and the first thing you notice is how agreeable it feels. Slim, lightweight and comfortable, this is a phone that won't remind you of leg day every time it’s in your pant pocket. The design is clean and modern without trying too hard, and the IP64 dust and water resistance is a genuinely useful addition—because phones, like people, don’t always get to avoid rain.

Display:

The AMOLED display is the star of the show. Bright, colourful and smooth, it makes everyday use feel a little more special than the price tag suggests. I wasn’t too impressed with the contrast though. White is really bright even in its lowest setting, while black doesn’t come across as completely black.
