'Yellowbird' leads $15.3m Air/Water sale

Broad Arrow's Porsche-themed auction headlined by $4.68m 1989 Ruf CTR

FOR THE SECOND time in as many months, we have witnessed the sale of an original Ruf CTR 'Yellowbird' at auction. Leading Broad Arrow's Porsche-themed Air/Water sale in California, this particular example was chassis 23 of the 29 built, commanding a final $4,680,000 price. That's some way off the benchmark $5.5m figure attained by the ultra-low-mileage Gooding Christie's car in Amelia Island, but was still within the $4.5-5.5m estimate.
