Go! Drive & Camp
|August\September 2025
The BunduTrail comes with so many clever new features, you'll feel like you have to learn how to camp all over again.
With any new camper, you expect one or two new features - but BunduTec's BunduTrail off-road trailer seriously overdelivers.
Its biggest selling point is the swing-out awning that's a breeze to set up, and with the push of a button your bed is ready too. What's more, the outside kitchen deserves a medal for originality.
For an off-road trailer this size - it's barely more than a regular trailer - you'll struggle to find anything else that offers this much storage or such smart use of every last inch. Don't even think about buying a new off-road trailer before giving the BunduTrail a proper once-over.
Stoep-side storiesWith most off-road trailers, you start by setting up the rooftop tent to get your sleeping area sorted - but with the BunduTrail, the lid has to be raised to access the bed. That means the awning and side room go up first.
Both are stored in bags on either side of the lid. Once you've opened the frame of each, they lift alongside with the lid to the right height.
The awning swings open with two arms that unfold to the front and back. The canvas stretches all the way over the nose and covers the rear kitchen area too. The two arms - front and back-swing out until they rest flush against the trailer body, then clip into place - and the roof canvas is instantly tensioned. What you don't see happening is the pair of ridge poles mounted above the arms, which automatically fold out at the same time. They're crucial for getting the roof to slope properly so rainwater runs off.このストーリーは、Go! Drive & Camp の August\September 2025 版からのものです。
