YAMAHA TRACER 7 AND 7 GT

With 2025 updates for the MT-07 and Ténéré appearing late last year, the only real surprise with this release is that it's taken so long. Actually, there's one more surprise about the 2025 Tracer 700 and GT, but we'll come to that in a minute (can you feel the suspense building?).

This is a fairly hefty update for Yamaha's middleweight adventure machine. It gets the new Euro5+ engine, of course, which uses a new ride-by-wire engine management set-up to improve emissions but also gives easy access to a heap of modern functions - cruise control, rider power modes and more sophisticated rider aids like switchable traction control. Power is about the same as before at 72bhp though, and with a decent 203kg wet weight, it should be lively enough for the class.
