RARE BENZ LEADS EIGHT-CAR HAUL

Tim Ashworth of auctioneer Manor Park Classics recently retrieved a set of eight cars from two different houses in Chorlton, Manchester, as part of a deceased estate. Two of them are very rare and unusual, even if their condition is far from perfect.

“The majority of the vehicles had been bought by the late owner during the 1950s and ’60s - and he had an eclectic taste in cars, as you can tell by the pictures,” says Tim. “Unfortunately, only a few of them were used on a regular basis over the years, which resulted in the majority of the cars deteriorating - not least because covered parking at both houses was very limited.”
