The 2024 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix proved that Oracle Red Bull Racing can be beaten

JUDGING BY THE OPENING couple of rounds of the 2024 Formula 1 season, you would be hard pressed to expect anything other than a clean sweep by the reigning three-time champion, Max Verstappen and Oracle Red Bull Racing. But the 2024 Australian Grand Prix seemed to have a change in the air right from the start. Throughout practice, Red Bull did not seem like their invincible selves and it was the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz that looked to be in prime form to once again be a thorn in the side of Red Bull's attempt at clean-sweep season. Despite all that, Verstappen pulled a rabbit out of the hat in qualifying to take pole position.
