Al-electric van aims to turn Britain's workforce on to zero-emission running

The Transit Custom is Britain's best-selling van, only here it's electric. It stands to reason, then, that if Ford can't convince its customers there's a future in electric commercial vehicles, then perhaps no one will. The importance of the E-Transit Custom cannot, therefore, be overemphasized.

The fundamentals are strong, as they tend to be with the Transit, with a new grille design to differentiate it from the recently updated diesel-engined Transit. As a diesel the Custom oozes masculinity on the whole a plus for your average van driver - but in electric form it's softer and more futuristic, perhaps smarter, even.
