India is the land of rich cultural heritage and preserving that opulent history that has spanned over millennia. This isn’t just a recognised fact in our country but is also recognised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). As a matter of fact, there are a total of 43 properties all across India that have been included on the World Heritage List. Thus, choosing a destination was never going to be an issue in a country that has strong traditions embedded in our very being. If anything, it can be an issue, since the pool to choose from is vast. After much deliberation though, we decided to visit a city that is perhaps one of the most wellmaintained sites from the Mughal Empire. None other than the ‘city of victory’ or Fatehpur Sikri.
