The performance sedan's new generation derives its power from a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that can put out a peak output of 265bhp and 370Nm of torque. This power is transferred to the wheels through a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission paired to a front-wheel-drive layout with an electronic differential lock (VAQ).
