It might seem that Nissan is content with the success of the Magnite in India. However, the carmaker is getting ready to stir up a storm in the country with a mega - product offensive beginning as early as this month.
The company will begin by launching the brand new fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail. The new X-Trail is available in petrol variants as well as e-Power variants. However, the e-Power variants would make the X-Trail rather expensive here in India. So we expect Nissan to launch it with a petrol powertrain only. This means under the hood of the X-Trail could reside the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine tuned to offer 160bhp. The only catch here is that the particular variant we are talking about is available in FWD only.
