As Subaru considers a WRC return, we've lined up an Audi TT RS, a Volkswagen Polo GTI and a Toyota Hilux, all of which have links to the world of rallying
NEWS that Subaru will look to double-down on its motorsport heritage (Page 10) will chime with World Rally Championship fans. But the company is not the first to use its racing nous to develop accomplished road-going alternatives. THE Audi TT RS was never a rally winner, but its Quattro forebear defined the genre in the eighties, and its four-wheel drive technology is still in use throughout the German manufacturer's modern-day lineup.
