UPDATED HILUX ON THE WAY WITH MINOR FACELIFT

A FACELIFTED double-cab Toyota HiLux ute arrives in showrooms in March with a revised look, more cabin features and 48-volt tech for some variants.
Prices for the updated HiLux had not been confirmed as we went to print but it is expected some models will remain unchanged while others will increase by between $300 and $1000.
The 48-volt technology will be standard on SR5 and Rogue models, and available as an option on the SR 4x4 double cab. The system adds a 48-volt battery and a small electric motor-generator to the HiLux’s 150kW-500Nm 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, six-speed automatic transmission.
