The Window Factory Terrace Lounge by Niraj Shah & Minali Verma

- KASHISH KAUSHAL

THE ELEVATED RETREAT

Perched atop The Window Factory in Ahmedabad, this terrace lounge showcases a retractable roof, earthy-industrial materiality, and thoughtful climate design

Apart from their finest products, what makes a brand stand out or memorable to their customers, long after they have left the store? It's when they are not afraid to go the extra mile in providing the best possible experience, not just when you are pulling out your wallet but even if you're only there to look around, enquire and leave. Don't we all love a brand that makes our retail sessions a little more hospitable!

imageThat's exactly what The Window Factory (a venture of Hifab) set out to do with their new Window Experience Centre in Makarba, Ahmedabad. When they called Niraj Shah and Minali Verma, co-founders of IDO Design, the brief was straightforward but ambitious: build a terrace lounge that doesn't just showcase their state-of-the-art retractable roof system but turns the simple act of seeing it in action into something visitors will never forget.
