After a lengthy absence, Australia's Queen of Craft Tonia Todman says she's ready to return to morning TV again.

And 30 years after introducing the country to the hot glue gun on Good Morning Australia, Tonia has finally begun to write her memoirs.

Despite the time that's passed since the show went off the air, Tonia, now 74, says it may take a while until she can publicly regale some of the stories she has from her time on the morning variety show.

There are a lot of people I can't put in it because I'll probably get sued, she cheekily confesses in a candid chat with Woman's Day.

I might have to wait until a few more fall off their perch before I can really tell the truth.

For 20 years, Tonia made Aussies fall in love with craft making again on the morning variety show, earning her the well-deserved moniker of Australia's arts and craft queen.
