Sophie Monk ‘WE'RE NOT NOT TRYING FOR A BABY!'

The bubbly star opens up about starting a family, wedding plans and her next big show

Like most Aussies, the pandemic is making it hard for Sophie Monk to make plans especially wedding ones!

“We’re just kind of going with the flow because you don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow [with COVID],” she tells Woman’s Day. “The good thing is I can organise something in a week!”

The 41-year-old, who announced her engagement to sales manager Joshua Gross, also 41, in January, says that when the big day does happen, it will be “very low-key”.

“Because everything I do is an event, I’ll probably pull it back so it’s just about us. If there’s a crowd there, naturally I just try and make jokes and perform,” Sophie reveals.

The reality star says she’ll also be ditching a bridal party. “I don’t think I’ll have bridesmaids,” she says. “I think I’ll keep it really small – no drama for anyone and then just have a party.”

In fact, Sophie reveals she would “totally” elope if she had the chance!

“I would definitely be down for that,” she says. “As long as I’ve got a good dress!”
