When I was asked to meet Paul Hollywood to see how we would get on before starting on Bake Off, I thought we might meet in the pub for an informal chat. When I got there it was make-up, clothes and cameramen. I did get a bit of a shock, but Paul just told me to go for it! He knew I had more oomph and experience than I was showing, and encouraged me to show more of myself.
