Another value-minded Medion PC sacrifices its CPU in return for huge gaming horsepower

LAST ISSUE WE looked at the Medion Erazer P4408 D, a desktop PC that passed on certain hardware features (such as a current-gen CPU or SSD) in order to provide massive graphics performance at a low price. This issue, we’re looking at the Medion Erazer X5361 G, a desktop PC that passes on certain hardware features in order to provide massive graphics performance at a low price.

The systems share a general approach to part-picking, and have the same processor: a quad-core, 3GHz Intel Core i5-7400. However, the Erazer X5361 G aims higher, with a more distinctive chassis, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and an 8GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070.

Just as the P4408 D threw in a GTX 1060 for much less than you’d pay for a pre-built PC with the same GPU, the X5361 G is by far the cheapest GTX 1070 system we’ve seen.
