Smith's 'Ready To Land His Own Ko Blow' (And Win The Ashes)
The Cricket Paper
|September 01, 2019
USMAN KHAWAJA has warned England not to get carried away with their heroics at Headingley – and reckons Steve Smith is ready to face the wrath of Jofra Archer all over again to clinch the Ashes.

Khawaja captained the Australians to an easy innings and 54-run victory in a tour match against Derbyshire this week – a match which marked the return of Smith, who was forced to miss the third Test through concussion after being hit on the helmet at Lord’s by an Archer delivery registering 93mph.
Despite his enforced spell on the sidelines, Smith remains the top run scorer in the series with 378, courtesy of his back-to-back centuries in the first Test victory at Edgbaston.
