Hughes Finding That Yoga Is Not Such A Stretch

A BIT of heat in winter is something that most of us have craved at some point, although perhaps not the scorching temperatures on offer in Sydney last weekend.
So, Derbyshire’s Alex Hughes counted himself as one of the lucky ones when he stepped into a pod heated to 37 degrees Celsius for a spot of yoga.
For Hughes and his team-mates it represented a step into the unknown but, in a bid to beat the boredom that can set in after endless net sessions, he’s hoping that it’s something that can help him stay fit when the temperature begins to rise outside and the action starts in earnest.
Although he admits to The Cricket Paper that he’s still some way off achieving full flexibility – with any chin on the floor exhibitions at the start of his runup unlikely to be rolled out by the time the season starts.
