Help stop the mindless hacking of Mumbai’s ‘lungs’. Save the trees.
-
Cub kids, it has been one long, hot, sticky summer. And the respite all of us have been waiting for is finally here. Heavy skies, the pitter-patter of rain and sweet petrichor*. What a wonderful time the monsoon is! As you jump into little rain puddles, look around and take a moment to observe nature’s beauty. The grass is soft and wet, the trees look alive and lush. Even in concrete jungles like Mumbai, the monsoon months paint the city green.

Stop The Killer Highway Through Corbett
Even as conservationists in Assam try to minimise wild animal roadkills on NH-37, a highway that obstructs the movement of wildlife from the flooded Kaziranga National Park to the safety of the KarbiAnglong hills… across the country, another killer highway has been foisted on us by the state of Uttarakhand.
