Women farmers in 30 villages of Madhya Pradesh join hands to command a higher price for their groundnut produce
LAXMI LODHI is happy with the way her life has transformed over the past three years. From a struggling marginal farmer in the tribal village of Mamonikhurd in Madhya Pradesh, she is today a proud member of the region's first women producer collective. Besides working on her groundnut farm, she has the important job of keeping the books of the village collection centre where women groundnut farmers deposit their produce.
