Whenever I’m back in Los Angeles for the holidays I make a point of spending a few days in Yosemite. It’s much quieter than other times of the year and you feel as though you have the place all to yourself. But even at this time of year there are iconic photo locations, such as Tunnel View overlooking the valley, where you will have to arrive early before sunrise to claim your space along the soon-to-be very populated wall.
