Succession star Brian won't let scriptwriters interrupt his kip

Actor Brian Cox refuses to accept script changes on hit show Succession if they come in after his bedtime, a co-star has revealed.

Kieran Culkin, who plays the son of Cox’s character Logan Roy in the series, said the Dundee-born star has told bosses he will not perform rewrites if they are sent to him after 10.30 pm.

He said the 74-year-old veteran has spent six decades following the same strict routine of preparing for a scene the night before.

It ended up causing trouble on set when the Scot he was unaware of a new script during one rehearsal.
