GOLDEN girl Helen Glover was singing “happy birthday” to her three-year-old son yesterday after making history as the first mum to compete as a British Olympic rower.
The 35-year-old double Olympic champion is going for gold in her third consecutive Olympic Games.
While in Tokyo, she has sacrificed speaking with her three young children by TV presenter husband Steve Backshall in case it confuses her 18-month-old twins.
She had son Logan in 2018, while twins – a boy, Kit, and a girl, Bo – arrived in January last year.
