Holly's horror at dance disasters

As celebrity ice-skate show returns, host can’t look as stars attempt death-defying routines

IT HAS long been plagued with horror injuries and now Dancing on Ice is so “terrifying” even host Holly Willoughby can’t watch.

When celeb skaters take to the rink Holly has revealed she just watches co-host Phillip Schofield’s reactions to check there hasn’t been another accident.

Last year’s series had to be paused for a week following a run of injuries. Five of the 12 original contestants had to quit.

Denise Van Outen broke her shoulder, reality star Billie Faiers suffered a head injury, Jason Donovan had a back problem and Myleene Klass injured her knees.

Professional skater Yebin Mok was hurt when she was stabbed by a skate blade and needed emergency treatment.
