Warrington to role the dice in Vegas

LAS VEGAS has been put on notice. Leeds is set to take over.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has warned one of the party capitals of the world that it hasn’t seen anything yet as he plans to bring Josh Warrington to Sin City.

Warrington, 31, became a two-time IBF featherweight champion when he stopped wily veteran Kiko Martinez, 36, in the seventh round on Saturday night.

Now ‘The Leeds Warrior’ wants to bring his army of fans to the US – and Hearn, who is keen to pit him against WBA regular champion Leigh Wood, admits it will be hard to deter him.

The Matchroom chief said: “I just think it would be wild in Vegas. It’s hard to say Ricky Hatton-esque but he would take 10,000 plus to Vegas.
