Harrogate Town continued their impressive run of form in the National League with an impressive victory over a Yeovil Town side who missed the chance to go top of the table.
Late goals from Brendon Kiernan and Jack Muldoon extended Town’s unbeaten run to seven matches at Huish Park.
Rhys Murphy did score in second-half injury-time to ensure a nervy end for the visitors, but Simon Weaver’s men held on to secure all three points.
“Big occasion, big crowd and we’re up against it in the lion’s den,” said Weaver, whose side moved up to eighth in the table as a result.
“It was a really long trek and a lot of miles covered but the boys gave it absolutely everything and we really deserved the three points.”
In a tight first period, it was the Glovers who went closest to finding the breakthrough.
