Giants Will Soar In Second Half
The Giant Insider
|November 20, 2016
With half of the Giants season in the rearview mirror, it is now time to talk about how the second half of the season is going to look.
-
The first half has shown some good signs as well as plenty of bad ones. Though there have been a myriad of distractions, both on and off the field, such as the Josh Brown situation and to a lesser extent Odell Beckham Jr.’s sideline antics, the Giants should be able to finish the season strong.
Some may argue that the defense has not lived up to expectations, but this is not the case. It is true that the defense is outside of the top 10 in yards per game, but the unit is in the top 10 in points per game allowed. Yes the front office spent an exorbitant amount of money on the defense, but any first-half deficiencies can be attributed to lack of offensive production and more importantly health.
