He became the fourth tight end the Dolphins have selected in the third round of a draft, following Michael Egnew in 2012, Ferrell Edmunds in 1988 and Ronnie Lee in 1979.

COLLEGE CAREER

• Entered the NFL draft as an underclassman.

• Played three years at Boston College after redshirting in 2017.

• Led all FBS tight ends in receptions in 2020 with 57, good for 685 yards (12.0 average) and five touchdowns.

• The 57 catches ranked second in school history for a tight behind only the 66 receptions in 1993 for Pete Mitchell, who became a fourth-round pick of the Dolphins in the 1995 draft.

• Tied his career high with nine catches for 96 yards against No. 12-ranked North Carolina on Oct. 3 of last season.

• Had eight receptions for a career-high 109 yards and a touchdown at Virginia on Dec. 5.

• Led B.C. with 509 receiving yards on 28 catches as a redshirt sophomore in 2019.

• Had a 72-yard touchdown reception against Louisville in that 2019 season.

• Had a 26-yard reception in his first college game against UMass in 2018.
