Dressing The Gender Gap
Cornwall Life
|October 2017
Baby blue or baby pink? If you don’t know and baby yellow doesn’t appeal - head to Little Loves Cornwall for the perfect outfit, writes ABBY DRIVER

BORED of stereotypical gendered baby clothes, Cornish mum Jemma decided to do something about it. ‘When I was pregnant with my daughter, we didn’t want to know the sex and it was very limiting buying clothing and accessories that aren’t just white,’ she says.
So when she spotted some amazing fabric while visiting family in Belgium, she started creating handmade clothes for her daughter. It was only when friends started asking her for similar items she realised she might be on to something! With a clear gap in the market for handmade, unisex baby and toddler clothes, Jemma set about launching Little Loves Cornwall.
