1 “The fullheight glazing opens it up” ‘My vision was for a huge open-plan space with Crittall doors and skylights. I grew up in Australia so I’m used to big lateral spaces. When we found this double-fronted house in Dulwich, it had more scope for extension than a typical Victorian terrace. By knocking through a warren of dark rooms, incorporating the footprint of the rear terrace and extending into the side return, there was no need to eat into the 170ft garden either.’
