Permit us to tell you the humbling ‘rags to riches’ story of Sumeet Hukamchand Mittal. Sumeet learnt the true meaning of generosity and happiness from his father who lived till his last years in a rented apartment, even as he used up any extra money to set up his own cloth business and settle the rest of his family. Having first-hand witnessed these struggles, Sumeet wanted to welcome his family into a home of their own and in resolution purchased a row house in Ahmedabad. In 1998, when he and his wife Sashi decided to pursue their dream of making it big in the film capital of the country, they sold this home and shifted into a rented apartment in Mumbai
