I have discovered that behind the planning and aesthetics of Indian settlements there is a profound meaning. Their values are not merely aesthetic or technological, economical or social...they are all combined and have their own hierarchy depending on what the society emphasises on. These values have dominantly shaped my way of thinking and continuous search for architectural expression and planning concepts in the Indian landscape.

As architects as well as consumers of our habitat, we need to evolve our holistic approach towards saving time and energy in planning and architecture. How do we go about this? I’ve made a few observations.
