The Lodhi in New Delhi was the perfect choice in the city for me as I was moving from a farm that was an oasis of greenery. When I first saw the apartment, I knew I wanted to inhabit it rather than transform it. The most important thing for me was to retain the neutral tones and brighten it up with accents of colour that would lend it character and warmth.
