Seemingly unusual colour combinations are being brought together, and while not what would be considered a typical colour combination, when you see them together they really do work. This year, the Kansai Paint Colour Forecast Team reiterate that when bold colour choices are on trend, the Forecast is even more important to give customers confidence to explore these in their own homes.

NEUTRAL OF THE YEAR

Along with four themes that express the key trends in the world of colour, Kansai Paint also chooses one colour in the Forecast that captures the overall mood for that year. This year, the team decided to do things differently and pick a Neutral of the Year. This means that the colour is still directional and trend-right, but much easier and versatile for anyone to use, whether it’s by itself or with other hues from the Forecast.
